There were some treasures at my grandma's (she is still alive, by the way, she reached a hundred years last november, and is now in an old peoples home) She had her grammophone, with a few records, and then she had her viewmaster. The paper around the reels had a faint smell of greek coffee. I am not kidding, old paper and greek coffee have send away some similar whiffs that reach my nose, an olfactorical coincidence. Well, anyway, I loved to put the reels into the viewmaster, and then come to a quite different world, mostly american. Niagara falls. Big, big trees, so big you could drive a bus throug a hole in the middle. But the most beautiful of all were the reel with pictures from the Nativity Church in Bethlehem. With all the beautiful, golden lamps in the Crypt..
